Eddie Martin
London-born Martin was weaned on a folk, electric blues and classic rock soup that left him as at home with acoustic as electric instruments and imbued him with deep respect for the music’s Afro-American roots. Award-winning guitar and harmonica skills, foot percussion, witty lyrics and a strong voice have made Eddie a uniquely popular act on the international circuit for decades. His songs have graced TV and film soundtracks, and his live performances continue to be awe-inspiring. He has recorded 3 sessions for BBC Radio 2, including at the famous Maida Vale Studios. Singer-songwriter-multi instrumentalist, charismatic entertainer and blues missionary all combine to make Eddie Martin's solo performances special. Multi award winning, he has become known as “The Ambassador of British Blues”.
