Jamie Williams and the Roots Collective

Settled into the current super-tight line-up after over 500 shows the band is on fire, playing their own style of Roots/Rock at festivals and venues across the country, including London’s legendary 100 Club, their ethos is always to have fun and make sure the crowd does too. This is not a band that stands onstage staring at their (red) shoes. Their new album ‘Stay True’ (their 10th) released in May has received great reviews and is gaining airplay around the world.  Jamie is a prolific writer of accessible songs; songs good enough to hold their own in a solo acoustic setting, which really light up when the band add their own influences, energy & musicianship to the arrangements. They are like the classic touring bands of the 70s: almost a travelling circus; a dysfunctional family of a band. They're tight without being boringly slick; leaving just enough rough edges to become one of the most exciting and fun 'originals' live bands on the circuit today!

Saturday October 5th: 9.30pm @ The Ferry Inn (festival set), & Sunday October 6th: 1.30pm @ The Devon Rum Bar, Island Street (acoustic set)
