'Live @ The Harbour' Comedy Show - Saturday October 7th (9.00pm)
We are very happy to announce the line-up for our ‘Live @ The Harbour’ Comedy Show on Saturday October 7th, to be held in the Marine Room at The Salcombe Harbour Hotel.
The evening will be hosted by Burt Williamson, a stand-up comedian, improviser and comedy producer based in Bristol. Burt has had two critically-acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh Fringe, is the brains behind Bristol Comedy Festival and an all-round funny guy. At the forefront of a new and exciting generation of comics emerging from Bristol, Burt leads the charge on a new wave of talent in British comedy.
Opening the evening will be former-Butlins Redcoat Suzy Bennett. Originally from Devon, Suzy is a dynamo of a comic, with a uniquely warm and chatty stage presence - she has been delighting audiences with her saucy comedy since “accidentally” reaching the finals of Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol on her first gig, and being asked by Jimmy to support him on tour.
Second up on the night will be loveable Welshman David Arnold who never fails to deliver a well-rounded and polished performance that has his audience laughing throughout. He is fast developing a reputation as one of the South West’s brightest talents and is one not to be missed. Now based in Plymouth, David has won critical acclaim in competitions such as ‘So You Think You're Funny’, ‘Comedy Gladiators’ and the ‘South Coast Comedian of the Year’…
Our headliners are the comedy circuit legends, and consistent audience favourites, The Raymond and Mr Timpkins Revue. An act like no other and NOT to be missed the Revue’s lightning-fast choreography meets uber-swift editing in a fantasmagorical collision of quality entertainment. An overload of velvet, sandals and multi-hued wool provides a startling accompaniment, the whole effect being that of a slim man and a fat man putting their bums in your face!
